Description
SparKlear contains bacteria, enzymes, and trace minerals. It is the biological control for ponds and small lakes. Promote the health of your pond or small lake.
By adding beneficial bacteria to the water that are optimized for the pond environment, you can improve the natural degradation of waste products that are typically found there. Bacteria are living creatures that will grow and multiply under favorable conditions, to some degree allowing their population to respond to changes in the quantity of waste products in the pond. Bacterial performance can also be enhanced with enzymes. The enzymes will break down complex compounds into simple ones that are easier for the bacteria to digest. The net result is that the native bacteria in the pond can function at a higher efficiency with the enzyme supplement than by acting on their own.
Benefits:
- Active ingredient: beneficial bacteria, enzymes, and trace minerals. Same as MuckMaid
- Safe for fish and wildlife
- No swimming, fishing, or irrigation restrictions
- Simple application
- Fast acting
- Results in just 7-14 days

It’s early days, as I’m only a couple of months into trying to revive a spring that had massive algae growth this year. Cape Furl and SparKlear seem to be making a significant dent in it, so I’m optimistic. Will add in Phosphorus control next.

Sparkler is an excellent product I use it along with Phoscotrol, Cutrine granular, Saphire blue dye, Dibrox and occasionally Muck Maid. I am pleased with all of these products they are effective. In addition to my chemical treatments I rake my pond a couple times a year and compost what I remove .
I’ve worked on my pond for 40 years and love what it has become. My fish love it too.
My greatest compliment for the Lake Restoration is to the employees. They are always gracious and take their time to talk with me , coach me on what might work better for my specific weed or algae. The Lake Restoration people is why I come back every year. It has fostered a trust for the quality of their products.

Have used for past 15 years. Found it a must use product to counter the fertilizer runoff of surrounding fields. I apply about two weeks follow application of algaecide. Can see fish swimming below the boat. Excellent product.

This product definitely makes a difference. If you have many years of organic buildup from leaves etc… it does take persistence but over time the pond looks better and better.

I am very pleased with this product. I have been applying it for 3 summers to clean up the muck along the waters edge as there has been a big build up. Works great!

I use this product in what I call the four step process and my pond looks clearer every year since using this 5 years ago. A must use!

We have used SparKlear for 3 years in our 1/4 acre natural pond. The pond has gotten clearer and clearer each season. 10 yrs ago when we bought our home, the pond was complete muddy – couldn’t see fish. First 7 years we used different product line and had nominal results. Finally – SparKlear, fall Phosphorous control, Muckmaid during the season and keeping dye in always – our beautiful fish can be seen swimming from up on our porch! It’s still getting better each year.
