How to apply Navigate granular aquatic herbicide?

Broadcast Navigate granules directly where the weeds are.

Is granular or liquid better?

Both 2, 4-D products will kill the weeds listed on the labels. Each container (1 gallon liquid or 50 lbs. granules) will treat about a half acre. You may have an application method preference or take cost into consideration.

How does Navigate compare to Aquathol K/Super K?

2, 4-D and Aquathol don’t have temperature restrictions. They have different active ingredients. 2, 4-D is a selective herbicide and Aquathol K is a broad spectrum herbicide. Target species are listed on the labels of each product.

Is Navigate safe for fish and wildlife?

Navigate is EPA approved for aquatic use. Read the label regarding oxygen depletion with decaying plant material.

Will Navigate kill water lilies?

2, 4-D will kill water lilies if applied correctly.

    The granular pellets are easy to apply from the dock with a broadcast spreader. We have thick milfoil and watershield. This works great on both. We apply early summer and early fall. What’s nice is it sinks to the bottom and works at the roots of the watershield before it reaches the surface.
