What is an aqua thruster?

The Aqua Stormfuro is a muck blaster that will blow away weeds and muck and help to prevent future weeds from taking root.

How big of an area will the Aqua Stormfuro keep clear?

This lake weed blower will keep up to a 30-foot area clear with about a 5-foot width in the direction it is pointed.

How do you mount this weed blower for the lake?

We have two mounting options: the dock mount will mount to the flat part of your dock or decking panels; the post mount will fit over an existing post up to 2 inches in diameter.

Do I need a permit?

Check with your local department of natural resources or equivalent to find out if you need a permit.

Does it actually work?

Yes! The Aqua Stormfuro is blasting water so hard that if you were to try and stand in front of it, it would blow you back!

Is the Aqua Stormfuro safe for fish and wildlife?

Of course! The Aqua Stormfuro is chemical-free, so it is completely safe for fish, humans, pets, and wildlife.

How often should I run the Aqua Stormfuro?

It’s up to you: you can leave it running constantly or add a timer. Try a a few different things to figure out what will be best for your exact situation.

Can I get a longer cord?

Is there a warranty?

There is a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Lake Restoration manufactures the Aqua Stormfuro right here in the United States. If you happen to have an issue, even if the warranty has expired, give us a call or fill out a repair request form and we’ll work with you to get it fixed.

Do you have other size motors?

No, the Aqua Stormfuro comes in 1/2 HP motor only. This will keep a large area around your dock clear.

    Storm Furo DO NOT BUY! 1 year warranty only lasted 2 years or should I say seasons. Motor shot after less than 100 hours of use!

    Waste of money. Runs about 3 minutes and clogs with weeds and muck. Attempted to use various times to no avail. Even pre-raked the lake bottom. Didn’t mowe muck, just recirculated it a small area.
