The Vitaflume floating fountain is the perfect 220V fountain for small ponds. Matching beauty with function and price, the high-voltage model saves you operating costs. Beautiful vortex is the standard pattern for our aerating fountains. The fountain has four main parts (float, suction screen, throat, and motor). It has a stainless-steel pump housing filter and uses an impeller to project water at a high volume.

FAQ

How long does it take to assemble and install the fountain?

Our vortex floating pond fountain ships assembled in one box. It is simple, one-person installation with a simple plug in and go operation.

Can I add lights to my floating fountain?

We offer LED lights that can be added to your pond fountain at any time for an additional cost. These lights come in 50′, 100′, or 150′ cord lengths. Our light sets come with an additional timer that allows you to choose when to turn on the lights.

Why should I aerate my pond or small lake?

Ponds that do not have aeration can become stagnant or stale and can also produce an awful smell. Aerating your pond or small lake with a pond fountain will circulate the water which increases the oxygen levels in the pond that help prevent fish kills. You can also see a decrease in algae and a reduction in muck levels. Use a pond aerator to keep your pond healthy and beautiful all summer long. Great shallow ponds less than 10 feet deep!

Which HP should I choose?

The main difference between our fountains is that the ½ HP fountain requires a regular 110V outlet and the ¾ HP or 1 HP fountains require a 220V outlet. The ½ HP fountain will aerate up to ½ acre. The ¾ HP and 1 HP fountains will aerate up to 1 acre.

Our recommendations:

  • Operate in a minimum depth of 20 in. of water
  • Unplug fountain before removing from water and cleaning
  • To clean, scrub the screen with a plastic bristle brush or pressure washer to remove debris and weeds
  • To prevent clogging, make sure to clean the stainless steel screen on the pump once a month
  • To store, clean unit and keep from freezing in a temperature controlled location
