How it Began

Growing up on Lake Minnetonka in MN, Kevin Kretsch was familiar with the nuisance of unwanted aquatic plants. Winter of 1976-1977, Kevin took to the public library to learn about the biology of aquatic plants and discovered pesticide management as a control solution. In 1977, Lake Restoration was born servicing its first customers by treating their lakeshores.
